NDP 2007!
While waiting for some extra time to pass, which then i'll be down for NDP NE show, I shopped around West Mall and by chance, i went into Tom & Stefenie and found these model vehicles (Pictures: BMW-X3 - Left; Mitsubishi Grandis - Right). This immediately in my mind harked back to my childhood days when daddy often buys me these cars and yet did not allow me to play with them; he showcased them in his glass-door cabinet and i could only make occassional glances, drooling for their attractions. Perhaps that was because i wasn't licensed to drive.. oops, i mean 'play', as i do always exert my full body weight onto them while virtually driving them. Though at that time i wasn't heavy in weight, i wasn't light either. For these confiscations that happened were all due to his historical observations and of course, evidences (whereby some damaged cars are still in my wardrobe now) had proven that his move was inevitably awesome, if not i'll regret even further today - i wouldn't still have kept so many of these cars now and would applaud for this good decision of his; passed misunderstanding of mine; and the current gratitude i express.
While heading further, i saw this! (Picture below)
This also immediately set my mind flashing back at my recent trip with my family to Genting Highland, Malaysia. Cruising uphill on a similar bus as pictured below - a double decker coach, resting on a massage-enabled flight style seat, in the luxury setting and with leather products everywhere - i could even smell them throughout my whole 6-hour journey. The comfort we felt was as comparable as an economy class flight.
I hope to travel once more on this bus! BJF6399~
Alright - I'll now display some photos taken during NDP NE Show 1 (14 July 2007, Saturday)
That's the end of the show! This group of Fairfield Methodist Primary Students were heading back to their school!! So unreluctantly I followed them back to their Dover campus. While on board the bus, some even addressed me as 'teacher' or 'cher'.. at least this did not make me overly excited about the relation between myself and this profession. -.-"
