Cake-Making Day

Today was a busy day. Real busy! Busy with? Baking cake~ Oops? yes! It's the real cake...

It's Sylvia's birthday and i was told to about the budget thingy: 'within $10, produce a cake.' So me and ahyong went to Jurong and bought its ingredients and came to my house to start baking. All in all, 6.5 full hours were spent from 3 to 9.30Pm. (Refer to evidence below.)

So this is our final deliverable: A spongy-soft, multi-layered and fruity Strawberry Cake!

These may not be known: These strawberries are pre-frozen before they were used as decorations. This is due to the fact that all berries contain high amount of anti-oxidant which is essential for building free-radicals and repairing damaged cells and tissues in our body, and after when they are defrost, our body will then be able to absorb these natural goodness.h

Also, the fruity jam in between layers are actually not a strawberry product... It's wild blueberry jam =) And, in case you're wondering, I've got this stupid habit of not washing up after my visits to the loo -- you shall imagine~ Just kidding! (though it isn't funny)

At 9.40Pm I became a deliveryman which delivered this cake to wengkin's house so that our plan would remain undisturbed, as the following morning I would bring Grandpa to VivoCity for some shopping and afterthat would head straight to band. Carrying a big, few kilograms, of cake wouldn't be convenient. And she would be there too...

Ok, delivered. Just after delivery, I happened to stroll pass Aliff kopitiam and I craved for its pratas (though I didn't eat theirs before) but went ahead anyway after some considerations over my fat-driggling tummy. Yes! Succeeded going against my ultimate vulnerability! Continued my stroll, when thoughts once again evoked my mind...
