Finally, Graduation!

Mr Ng!

Well, countless images of the past three fruitful years flashes effortlessly through my mind throughout the day and before, especially so during the ceremony. Year 1, 2 and then 3; it seems fking slow with 3 long years or 156 weeks, yet when looked from point to point that feels more like zhenyu's yesterday than yesteryear. Recalling the rather embarrassing moment as a freshman - Day 1. Right in front of the yet-to-have-known new classmates, in the orange polo, performing the humorous banana dance and virtually stripping as if peeling a banana. Fun but funny, it is now an image of nostalgia in sepia tone. Images simply come by and go off clearly and distinctively. Year 2, the TEP. Working in EMRS (events management) and Cheers store was most memorable, though initially sucky because it comes without salary. Nonetheless I'd still say it's the holistic provision that has led to the 'NYP Experience' (as touted by the institution)! Some may say 'huh?' but at the end of the day, the school has shown a systematic management, quality and flawless academic system and high-standard built environment. Almost all lecturers gave great great support. Beloved lecturers are Ms Chee ML, Alan Fong, Ong WM, Angela Cheng, Teo LN and some other ones such as Aloysious Tan, Teo PH, Annie Tan, Chew SH, and Ivy Lim are one of the closer lecturers. =) Smile! Ultimately if without this team of people there'll be without great students! Kudos to everybody!

Mr Alan Fong - PEM for 3 sems!
Ms Chee ML - greatest supporter! lol.

Ms Teo Lee Noi - Best part-time tutor and probably the most interesting tutorial in memory!
Ms Angela Cheng - PEM for 2 sems. All the best for you and your baby girl!

Appreciations too for my family, relatives and cousin for joining us. =) Cousin Zanc i'll be at your graduation too at your Uni! Speaking of which - it looks like this graduation isn't complete without a mortarboard (square cap), it will become another drive for me to work towards a Deg!

A Thought of Aftermath

Sometimes when things happen my way, I'm a wise man. Sometimes when things go out of way, I'm a failure. But when things don't happen at all, I'm neither. And when things get stuck in between both, I'm clueless.

So what happens when things fall in between the extremes? Blog. Simple. Let's weigh.

At the junction of Bras Basah Road and Victoria Street, the road junction at the busy cultural district gives me and the reality a true sense of complication. The library's there and standing tall, a hotel and a mall. On the other side is an abandoned building. Not so much about this though. Just visualize.

As a pedestrian, when I face the other side, I feel as it is. When I face the library, I feel the influx of knowledge. Facing the hotel, I feel like a visitor. To get across, I shouldn't dash across blindly and face consequence. But if I do, that's in the name of fun. But where's the fun, where the hell is the casino?! On the other hand, as a foreign or local driver, shouldn't I just hit the gas anyway, regardless of any condition? Worth it? Isn't that the quickest way to get across? Yes? Ideally, it's too complicated a game to be enjoyed by the masses.

If everything in life were just so easy said, where's the utmost challenge? Common layman still do abide by the rules. Rules are there not just to be there but for a purpose for an audience. But to surpass the rules is an attitude attributable, given any consequence.

Basically, even the simplest and most common sense things thoroughly make my receptors work. Am I constantly in search of a direction in life? For a cause or an action? Regrettable but frankly I am, but you're no different. So for or against danger or safety? Given high risk high returns, I'm still as clueless though. What about trying that when all cars stop? lol.

Glad that my direction is at a busy, artistic and cultural district. What about yours?

- just a thought. (and many words.) =]

Funny Clips

The Legend of Modern Aladin

Just a simple clip =) Don't question how the story flows; I don't know either. Just laugh your way to the loo!

Some fun before the shoot!

Basically, some fun here but still are things that can be improved on. Speculate for future productions! =)

Busy bee!

Have been quite busy lately despite being jobless. No extra cash but all the time and fun. But this lifestyle is not going to last for long - I've more or less found a job, just waiting for the interview to clear.

Daniel's here for 3 weeks, plus a trip up north are the main factors for being so time-packed. Last week, we went aboard the Ducktour! First and probably the only one. It was indeed as interesting as the way it's marketed. And what's more interesting is - Nisa's our tour guide for the day! Both of us were shocked so see each other at an unlikely place, and yea, followed by a big hug.

Daniel, and me, on a warcraft used in vietnam in WWII, touring the city in both land and water.

Merlion Park, and the world's tallest hotel.
Genting

Aboard and abroad. That's as easy as ABC because it's so convenient - just a bus ride away! Last Sunday, dad mum and me went ahead as planned for a short getaway. Same place, but different people. A 4D3N trip, unusually long, but that's with a trip down to Kuala Lumpur for a shopping spree which mum loves it. I brought back home nothing but memories. Some places we went were those we've been to about five years ago. Like the one below, Berjaya Times Square. Not much changes though. It's still the same KL City Centre.

Times Square and the monorail track (Which coincidentally broke down when we needed it most. And at the time of evening rush hour, heavy road congestions were seen.)
Dreamz Show - some sort of circus featuring white tigers, lions, and some puppies.
Not just that, its catchphrase included 'defying gravity' which later featured stunts like 'flying man', '360° flying bikes' and magician cutting up a live person. Gross, looked like real, but it's not. Sadly not a single photo shoot was allowed, except for preshow (above).

On our way home, we were given an ultra-luxury WTS coach ride for the next 6 hours! The bus was said to be just two months old, and I loved the leather smell! (a.k.a new car smell). The coach features aircraft-style cocoon sleepers, old-school games like pacman, and many other movies.

HOW COOL CAN THAT BE?!

Simply OMG!!!
How I wish I could have just one-tenth of it. haha!
