Exams are surrounding me. Yet I'm surrounding my toys - hp, ipod, lappy, television, bicycle. So on, and sole forth. No wonder I'm very sure i'm gonna repeat the Finance module next sem, it was just too, not difficult, but complicated. To find the n, or the k, you actually have to complete a certain sums to conclude that. Everything's just so jumbled up. Perhaps I'd be proven wrong, maybe by nick? Good luck pals, even pascale could make it, with 3/4 of the paper incorrect, we can. Muahahaha. Thank you pascale for cheering up my day! It was you who made me feel i'm not alone, struggling in four walls. I hope, deeply hope, that there's moderation exercise!
Marketing has past, and maybe Finance. Tomorrow will be Law paper. I've memorised much of the clauses and that's just those i realise, it wouldn't be heavy weight I guess. Monday - EFMA, Tuesday - Supply Chain. I may not ace 'em, but I'm seeing a B for marketing and EFMA. A is for Apple, but this time, it's for law. Three cheers for you!
Last Monday's driving lesson was a moment of a thrill. I was driven one or two streets, while was being taught the technics, and I was asked to drive. Yes, drive along public roads. I have been the king of the road, with cars giving way to me because i'm on the bus. But at that moment i felt tiny. Tigers and lions, or leapards and jaguars, dashing in speed until I felt like yet another size, a hamster (cute one). Muahaha and guess what? I picked up the speed and sped through a three-lane road at 70kph. It was fast! Sunny toned down the speed just then, my fear came down too.

Just Another Humble Update
Haiyo it's been so long since I last posted an entry. Lots of overdue stuff I've always wanted to say but too bad, now i don't feel like saying all already. I'll let my photos do the talking =) ..........

The photos are also long overdue because of the misplacement of my USB Data wire. WTF?! it costs me some 17 sing dollars from ebay. anyway had i bought it from physical shops, it wouldnt be this little - $45. thats a tremendous savings on this hand, but on the other, i wouldn't even need to spend 17 bucks if i didn't lose it. Anyway, the photos that you're going to see after my exams will be somehow $17. HAHA.
Exams, exams, exams. 5 days of 5 papers. And that's just before CNY. People are doing their last bit of shopping for new clothes (it's a tradition or culture not to be missed) and I'm here doing my last bit of mugging. But it's heartening to know there's at least a cohort of 400 or more people are enjoying the same fate as I do, so I don't feel a lone. I would say the revision is almost wrapping up, with the examinable topics. Yes, examinable topics - we're fed. So that's not much a problem, unless otherwise.
And recently, I've been eating more than too much as I mug, perhaps to overcome the depleted neurons. But now I think: Isn't it too much of food on top of too much of information load? That's not an issue actually, cos CNY is here. Mum always says 'its only once a year'. Mum's words are words of wisdom that I better follow so that my favourite pineapple tarts will not be sacrificed two weeks from now. After new year, yes. I hope i'll get busier than before so i'll not have the time, or chance, to eat. Cos IPP (Industrial placement program; aka attachment) will start immediately aft CNY, the following monday!
IPP. I'm being posted to............... drum roll...... ! It sounds nice. SINGAPORE FOOD INDUSTRY LTD. HAHA and is this a contradiction to what I plan to be aft CNY? I think with faith that it's all fated. Just in case you don't know, it's a big company dealing with FOOD (duhh...). But what's unknown is that which post will i be posted. logistics officer or food sampling boy? Nah fat dream. Perhaps a refuse manager. Wow a manager! Helo, it's rubbish.
So i'll be travelling to ulu pandan (clementi, west coast) everyday from day one. Quite exciting though. But not when it comes to travelling time. About 45mins? It's nearer than my school from my house, yet travelling time is longer than to the latter. The plans to double our rail transit MRT network is still far from what's clearly visible, but at least our mr raymond lim made it more visible to citizens so shortsighted like me. It's a good job done! But by then, i'll be old. older are my parents, gone will be the 'uncle lee' batch. It's 12 years later by the way - 2020.
Meanwhile, how to shorten travelling time during non-peak periods? Drive lor. everyone knows. but dude i've only got car-cheng, how to move quickly? somemore it's a big one, but still smaller than some fat ass-es. Anyway, tmr I WILL BE DRVING! I will start my first driving lesson at 12noon sharp, 28 Jan 2008. It's a historical moment. note this, if you care. HAHA. hope it's a nice care to drive, don't giv me old vios or honda city. perhaps a sunny will be good. I reckon my instructor's car is a Sunny, because his name is Sunny!
What happened today? Did a bit of spring cleaning (another traditional responsibility fulfilled) in the morning and went out to do group revision at united sq in the afternoon. Guess what? I bumped into Ms cheong lin li! my sec 2 form teacher cum chinese teacher cum 'personal mentor'. a good counseller, teacher, and friend. She's still the same, except for being prettier than before, happier than before. why happy? She's no longer a teacher. that's what ex-hillg***e teachers will feel every time they step out of the teaching field. Not all, I hope. Anyway, we chatted from Yew Tee to Braddel (her workplace - SPH) and found out many things about her. She's still attached with 'that' boyfriend. I hereby wish them all the best!! sail smoothly for your life and job as well.
It'll be another chapter for me after exam. In fact, in the midst. I was 'retrenched' by the restaurent citing the lack of diners. But Friday will be another day of happiness for me, i'll be back as temporary staff till saturday. I miss fizah, john, chief, hafiz, uncle roni etc. Maybe i should consider going back even if they need us to work in the midst of my IPP, as and when i feel happy to go. =)
Here i got a secret. though it's an open one. It hurts. really, it hurts. after hours and over 18 miles (over 30km) of cycling last Fri. Point A -> Point B -> Point C -> Point D -> Point E -> Point F -> Point G -> Point H -> Point I.

A ride on a taxi will cost me 30mins with fare more than $20, not including midnight surcharges, ALL THE TIME SITTING on the comfy seats.
