Well, I'm back from yeowchong's 21st birthday chalet. It's fun I would say, and I'm certainly exhausted. Hope he and everybody had enjoyed! For the past four days since Friday, a car worth over $60k was rented for $260 and incredibly I've clocked in more than 800km on 70l of petrol, which is about 12km/litre (FC very good). Seriously, 800km in three days, and done so incredibly in our tiny Singapore. Shall everyone award me with claps!! Another thing: I seriously did not understand why the front-right tyre needed an inflation to be done. But now I know.
=(
What about the few days of work at the emergency department again? I think I'm sort of getting rather used to people howling and crying in the midst of walking at the corridor. With H1N1 getting quite serious now, 1 in 8 patients would request for a swab test because they were in close contact with their H1N1-positive friends or family members. It is statistically proven that these suspected cases had mostly turned out to be positive. Scary ya? I think so. Mum had suggested me to quit the job at the supposedly 'white tower', because it is now somehow black, and making the house look a little grey at every end of the day is not something everybody likes. Should I reconsider about staying put, or just back off? It is not as if I needed money badly, but just to break free from the legacy (of receiving non-work $$). Nevertheless, I love my job, I love the people there, and I love to see the figures grow too (on bank statement though, not H1N1).
For now, I will not go to band because I'm now a high-risk person. And given that the band room is always so stuffy, the risk of spreading is even higher. Mdm khong, forgive me!! =)
